About Lauren

Lauren Broekhuizen

I like my work to evolve and become its own. There is always a feminine element in my painting. The Nguni Cow, The Moon & Bird symbolizes the female either being motherly, grounded to earth, free in flight or to be in touch with the bigger universe or just to be. The viewer perceives a painting through their own eyes therefore I would like each painting to speak for itself.
