About Merle

No matter what your age - God has given us all the gift of creativity. He gave it to the bushman, who left masterpieces in caves, they were inspired by what they saw. All of us can create our own masterpieces in whatever form. My art is from my heart - what catches my attention,inspiration,feeling,all play a part in what medium and subject I will paint. I love our country's wide open spaces.The serenity of the Karroo and Free state, The energetic thundering of our seas. The perfection of flowers.I have had no formal training but have attended workshops to polish my work. My teachers were such amazing people that they have shaped my work into what it is today. I have been given the opportunity to help people to get in touch with their "right brain" and show them that art relaxes and de-stresses one.
