About "Breaking Ice"

I am inspired by the colour blue and tend to do a lot of paintings using different hues. Experiment in acrylic pouring that turned into something great. The sea is always an inspiration!

About Ronni

I take my inspiration from everything and everyone around me - the movement of the sea, the colour and shapes of the clouds, a fleeting image on the TV and even from dreams. My work is not easily classified as one or other genre as I do whatever inspires me on a specific time and date. I work in many mediums and cover many subjects. My favourite mediums are however oils and acrylics. I am heavily influenced by the Impressionists and generally do not do fine detail. I wish the observer to interpret my works in whatever way they want.

I came across the following saying a long time ago and this is what drives me :
Above all else :-
It is about leaving a mark that I existed
I was here, I was happy
I was sad, I was in love
I was afraid, I was hopeful
I had an idea and I had a purpose...
That's why I make works of art
