As a child a play theme that occurred again and again was role play as different animals, usually a noble steed, a mighty lion or a bigger than life elephant (or fairies). These roles were also played out in exotic, far off destinations, surrounded by magical foliage in rainbows of color. Fast forward a couple of years and the realization dawned that the next best thing was to share my imagination by means of art! Since then 22 years have passed and still every work of art manages to inspire the next piece, every brush stroke is accompanied by a racing heart and the end product leaves me with a very unique sense of satisfaction (if a little exhausted). In every animal, plant and moment captured a little bit of the subjects life and soul is captured forever. A little bit of my time here on earth will live on in the composition. The light by which I worked will forever be reflected in their eyes, in the shade of a blade of grass. And it is my great pleasure to be able to share this magic with you, to instill wonder and inspiration! Here in the heart of the bush-veld hours are captured on canvass and paper. I have lived in Klerksdorp, Secunda in mpumalanga and currently reside in Mokopane, Limpopo. Recent exhibits have been in Mokopane and Polokwane.
