About "Stalking"

This work was produced whilst I was exploring the way that light,colour and lines are seen by any individual. The aim was to take away all lines that define a subject and break the subject down into only sections of colour. When veiwed up close the eye only observes the diffirent sections of colour that make up the image, once you start distancing yourself your mind starts to fill in all the "gaps" in the image. You start seeing lines and definition that are not there and you start to see the subject. It is an optical illusion, colours join together to form lines and eventually form an image in the observers mind.
