About "Copper and Apples"
This one is not available. However, I can paint one similar or of the same kind for you.
I knew I loved painting since my mother gave me a water-colour paint box as a birthday gift on my 5th birthday. At age nine I already won five drawing and painting competitions. In 1969 I followed a course in book illustration at the then Cape Town Technical College. I painted a few commissioned art works for friends and kin but was too busy attending to the demands of my profession and family and thus avoided formal art education and wasted many years just fiddling with paint and brush. I however constantly bought good reading material and never missed any exhibit or gallery. We moved to Europe in 1991 where I made contact with the Belgian artist Octaaf Schoemans. This lead me to paint seriously and also to present my work on a one man exhibition. I sold all of my paintings within 3 days. On returning to S.A., at the end of 1996, I attended a few painting sessions with a friend and then decided on formal training which led me to attend the Denzil Herringh art school for a few years. This brought me a good deal of practical knowledge which prompted me to start my own very efficient art school. Since then I have been painting on a constant basis, delivering my work to various dealers and selling it to private customers. I love painting flowers, though it is not the only subject I paint. I also paint landscapes. I proudly present my work to you and would very much like to be of assistance to any one interested in my work. I also do commissions, should you like something similar or different to that which is shown on my website. Thank you for your support.
