Konrad Zander

1920 - 2009

Born in Windhoek, studied before the war II under Johannes Blatt
In Swakopmund. 1965 art lessons in West Germany.
A number of his works has been used in calendars or cards. A designer of
wool carpets. Passed away in March 2009 in Somerset West, South Africa.

Awards: 1968 Prince Bernhard Medal in Bronze, West Germany

Exhibitions: 1959 first of 20 solo exhibitions held in SWA/ Namibia,
South Africa and West Germany. He has participated in many group
Exhibitions from 1960 in these countrys as well.

Repesented: Arts Association Namibia, Willem Annandale Art Gallery,
Lichtenburg
