Melanie Meyer is an artist and photographer whose work is inspired by the natural world. She seeks to reveal the hidden expressions found in the infinite beauty of nature. Melanie has a deep connection with the rich wildlife and wilderness landscapes of Southern Africa. These remain the source of her creative energy.

When she is not creating art in her Kenilworth home studio, in Cape Town, she can be found exploring the wild wonders and landscapes of Southern Africa, where she soaks up greater understanding and inspiration. A place where she looks beyond the obvious and discovers what LIFE so generously has to offer. Form. Colour. Light Energy. A pallet for life.

Melanie works with a variety of artistic mediums, and her works range from the representational to the completely abstract, where conscious intent is allowed to explode into the unconscious realm of discovery and self-exploration. Melanie's signature artwork endeavours to reveal the hidden expressions of the natural world.
