About Christa

Christa Pavlou

Christa is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

As an artist Im inspired by the effect of light on objects and environments.
I graduated from university in 1993. Was a full time lecturer at Bloemfontein technikon in object and figure drawing 1997-2001. Thereafter I studied webdesign in Cape Town at Hirt and Carter and worked at Cloverleaf candles as designer.I was a full time arts and culture teacher at Campsbay High in CapeTown during the course of 2003. In 2004 I moved to Bethal in Mpumalanga where I started practicing as a professional artist and I give art classes on a daily basis.
I exhibited at numerous galleries.
