About Elbe

Art always interested me, and I felt this urge to create beautiful artworks, but never tried. Until I visited a friend and there on her diningroom wall was this huge, beautiful watercolour. I asked her who made it, and she answerd "I did"

On returning home that evening, I decided that I am going to try my hand at painting. Over the years it developed, through trial and error.
I attended class with Cicille Muller and Joy Heyneke.

For the rest, I read many books on painting. Of which I found the books of Helen van Wyk to be very helpful.

I am a Christian and am inspired by Gods creation.
When I struggel with a painting I ask Him to help, and it works every time.

I exhibited twice with art schools and some of my work was exhibited in a local art gallery.
