"female head"

I have long admired this artist’s work - the cold shiny steel, so often cut into flowing, flowery shapes, reminiscent of French filigree patterns forms an odd but strangely pleasing combination. In female head, the head is shown side-on and the intricate pattern looks like a brain that has extended itself throughout the profile. The only opening being the mouth. (I chose not to see any sexist comment in the artists decision to make this the gateway into the inner psyche of the woman!) It would be interesting however to see what the male counterpart would look like. (I’m sure he’ll accept a commission).
