"Emancipation"

A series of women’s heads sit veiled in a desert type scenery. Eyes are closed and only the occasional mouth or nose are shown. What are these women hiding from themselves or from others? A hint is shown in the leopard which prowls in the background. What truths keep us trapped? Why do we create masks to hide behind? What are we really afraid of? All these questions came to mind as I examined the work. A humorous feminist statement and one you may enjoying bringing into your own space.
