Jan Van is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Brilliant in the execution of his style as artist. A master with pastels and oil. no in-between.Love it. Rensburg was born 1952. From childhood his brilliance as an artist with exceptional talent was crystal clear. After high school he joined the Defense force in 1978. For work done he receives medals form head of Defense force.
By then marries first wife. After his army career he worked as mechanical designer and illustrator for Armscor and Kentron.
His wife died of cancer in 1981. In 1983 he met second wife and got married 1985. In the same year he became a fulltime artist.
Rensburg became well known as a pastel artist. Musicians and nudes were so popular that hundreds were painter and sold. He has also done in oil portraits, wildlife, landscapes and flowers.
People and flowers is his preference.
