JOHAN BERNARDUS MOCKE PASSED AWAY ON FRIDAY 04.06.05

Johan Mocke was a dynamic disabled artist. By concentrating on his talent, it took his mind off the Parkinson's disease that had chained him to a wheelchair for the latter part of his life.

2011/2012 SOUTH AFRICAN STAMP CATALOGUE of the S.A. Post Office, there are beautiful photographs of Johan Mocke's ten postage stamps depicting "Gift of Volunteers" and of the two First Day Covers. I regard these as important facts for Johan Mocke as South African Artist.
